Magnetic Scale-Breaking Filter – NVR/T Power 1/2″

The NVR XCAL magnetic filters contain a powerful permanent magnet that prevents scale deposits. They are the most economical solution for preventing scale formation in appliances such as boilers, water heaters, hot water storage tanks for heating or domestic use, washing machines, heat exchangers, and more. Ideal for protecting all appliances that heat water of any quality. They reduce the likelihood of scale formation and the increase of resistance in piping caused by calcium deposits. They can also be installed on drinking water lines.

Scale buildup inside pipes depends on water hardness (calcium content and magnesium salts) and the thermal load of the hot water circulating in the system. An increase in water temperature promotes the formation of calcium carbonate (limescale).
